Dry the fish with a kitchen towel and pat it with salt.
Heat Dalda Cooking Oil in a wok, and once it is medium heated, deep fry the fish until golden brown.
In a deep pan, heat Dalda Cooking Oil. Add ginger garlic paste and stir with a wooden spoon.
Let it simmer for a while and add red chili powder, turmeric powder with a cup of water to avoid the bitter taste of burnt chilies.
Add the hara masala and stir with a wooden spoon. Let it simmer on medium flame for 3-4 minutes.
Add a few green chilies and salt. Let the dish simmer on medium flame for 1-2 minutes.
Just before switching off the flame, add the crispy fried lady fish to green chutney and serve. You can also serve the chutney in a platter and serve crispy fried fish on top.
Sprinkle garam masala and lemon juice and garnish it with crispy brown onions. Serve it with steamed white rice or brown rice.
Heat 1/4 cup of mustard oil and when serving just drop a few spoons of hot mustard oil on the fish. It adds a world of difference to the taste and aroma.
